Special Needs Adoptions

Adoption Fees Are Waived

While there is no adoption fee, an application is required. These cats/kittens will likely need more vet care so adopters need to be prepared for vet visits and other possible expenses.

About Focus on Ferals

Raspy

Raspy is an almost 4 year old female. She’s playful and affectionate and always looking for a lap or head to sleep next to. She has a growth affecting her pallet and ear, she had surgery to remove part of it last year, but they couldn't get all of it. This makes her prone to ear infections, but she has responded well to treatment. Raspy will have ongoing veterinary needs if and when ear infections flare up. Due to the growth, she also audibly labors to breath at times, but doesn't require active monitoring and never lets it get in her way! Her favorite pastimes include receiving belly rubs, playing with her cat dancer toy, and mouse watching. She gets along well with other cats, and would do well in a household with friendly cats who are willing to play. Though she hasn't had any experience with children, she's a gentle cat who has never acted aggressively toward her foster humans or foster cat siblings, even when stressed. If you're looking for a life companion who will snuggle during movie night and greet you with a belly flop when you come home, consider giving Raspy a forever home.
